We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

not sure if this is gonna be a hardware or software problem but after exiting any game after extended play (half-hour+) the computer restarts...it appears to be exiting the program but instead it crashes and restarts the computer...im not sure what it could be, ive reinstalled several drivers to no avail

system specs
1.5mhz Athlon
epox board (i think)
512 pc 2700 ddr ram (brand unknown)
windows xp pro (no service packs)
geforce 3 with latest drivers

any ideas other than formatting?

What brand / wattage power supply do you have? You could have a faulty/cheap power supply.

also, are you sure there's not bunches of dust or stuff in your case? clean it out.
also, run scandisk on Standard with Automatically Fix Errors turned on

and, check out my immense tweak guide that surprisingly is not sitckied here: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=710208

other then that, perhaps you just need to reformat?
is your vid card seated properly?
are you sure all your Heatsinks etc. are making full contact with the thing they're supposed to be cooling?

are all your fans working?

good luck.
