Seems like the Lian-Li 217 is a winner

Not to be a negative Nancy here, but to me it's just another rectangular case with wood accents that looks just like 90% of the other cases out there. Maybe the case with the embedded fans may be kind of cool, but Lian Li in particular seems to be running out of ideas on how to make their cases stand out since their 011 days.

I kind of disagree outside of the “rectangular box” quip.

-the big included front fans with toolless adapters and different configs is pretty cool
-fully removable top fan mount so entire top of case is open
-built in fan hub
Have seen one of those features in different cases but not all integrated as cleanly. Also seems to have pretty solid vertical GPU mount system that’s not an afterthought

But totally understand if people want something more wild or distinctive. As mentioned the glass version of this case will probably fit the bill.

Case really does nothing out of the ordinary IMO. My Asus 602A ticks all those boxes and is a full tower case which is my preference. Again not trying criticize the case, but Lian Li seems to be running out of ideas which is somewhat understandable as there is only so much you can do with a case.

That’s totally fair regarding features, but again while the ProArt is undoubtedly a fantastic case it’s also ~2.5X the price at $280 on sale!

Having an extra $160 lying around for other upgrades goes a long way.

Not trying to push the 217 too much but think it’s good to advocate for items that are high quality with usable features for a reasonable asking price. Again , everyone’s priorities are different so choose to ignore this idiot at will!

Lian Li as far as I know has never been cheap in Europe, Lian Li used to be high end in price.
If this one is around 100 euros and good then it might be good choice for someone.

I see that it has high-powered fans and it could be great for cooling, but it's probably also a very noisy case.

Other than the front fans it's still looks the same as others. HC said they don't prefer the mesh on the front fans which is understandable.

Well I’ll eat my words from my previous post here. I decided to give this case a try due to its non RGB as I’ve grown tired of that lately. Very nice case with great airflow. Also lighter than my previous cases which is great due to my previous broken back injury. Keeps everything nice and cool including the 5090.
