Doesnt really look like good news. I hope I'm wrong.
product delivery in q4 is due for JAPAN only.

then it says, "although Canon will reassess its future mass-production plans for SED panels."

That's great news...but I never get excited about new technologies until more companies are on board, the price is competitive with existing tech and it's proven in the field. I guess I'm just a realist but those exact reasons are why I didn't buy a plasma until 5 years after the first models hit the market.

Nano-Proprietary, Inc. Comments on Canon’s Press Release Regarding SED, Inc. Ownership

"Restructuring of Canon’s ownership position does not resolve the pending litigation which goes to trial in a few weeks," said Tom Bijou, Chief Executive Officer of Nano-Proprietary, Inc. "We have terminated Canon’s license as a result of breach of contract. Moreover, our complaint against Canon includes other counts, including fraud unrelated to the ownership of SED. We are, however, willing to enter into a new license agreement with Canon on reasonable terms."

In other words. Canon paid millions for a license that Nano Proprietary thought would never get working anyway. Now that they are getting close to a real product, NP want to get more money.
