Hi,
I got my first external Seagate HD (FreeAgent 1.5tb for mac) a few days ago for my mac (MacBook 13', 1G), newest OSX version, all updated. The HD freezes up quite often. I have to pull out the power cord to get the HD responding again. I've checked the Seagate list for similar HDs with bad FIRMWARE, and my HD-version is not on it. (I also took the serialnumber test.)
I can't find out exactly what its firmware is called, but this is the model number: ST315005FJD105-RK.
PN: 9JG3D8-570
Is there a firmware fix for this model also?
