I have the 4tb model at home and it is working well for my purposes. But being on the [H] and reading that the device DOES have a second CPU that just isn't enabled by default. Well now THAT is interesting. I wanted to post to the crew here and see if anyone has come up with a way to enable it. I am researching myself but so far google has failed me.

Here is a link to the drive on Amazon if you are curious.

I would assume this is an ARM processor running linux and that you would have to figure out the procedure to install a new firmware then find an ARM image to install.

Edit: It may just be that the disk is formatted to ext3/4 and the OS is installed on the 4TB (that could be easy to update..) . Although I have had media devices like this that store the OS on flash and let you replace the drive.
