I'm trying to help a friend figure out his PC problems.
He told me it did random reboots & an occasional BSOD.
I used Memtest & it found a boatload of errors. Spinright found no HDD errors.
I pulled the PSU connector off the MB & found the +12VDC & +5VDC connector to be scorched on both the PSU & the MB PSU connector.
The case is an older Antec SLK3700AMB w/original 300W PSU & the motherboard is an Abit IS7.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

This happens when the connector on the motherboard does not tightly connect to the power supply connector. I have seen this before. Is there damage on either of the pins that you can not fix?
