Can i use a standard power supply to check a shuttle sb81P?

Think the psu is bad but need to confirm. can I take a regular psu and unplug the sb81p supply and put a standard psu next to the case and plug it in to test if it is the psu?

in addition anyone have a psu to replace the bad one I can buy? once I confirm it's bad.

If the plugs are the same and the cords reach long enough you should be good to go
