For the past month or so I've been having this same problem. After a while of inactivity, my sound will become slow and distorted. I've looked at my drivers, everything's up to date. I've checked out my sound preferences and BIOS settings to make sure the Live! card is being detected and not the on-board sound. The only solution I have to this problem is to reboot every time it occurs, but that's obviously annoying. Has anybody else had this same problem or heard of something similar? I'm going to get an RMA set up with Creative in the next week or so if this isn't resolved through software issues.

I haven't yet called into Creative. I've tried doing an RMA through the internet, but supposedly my account was created and I don't have the right password. :confused:

Anyhow, I'm still hoping somebody has experienced the same problem.
