I recently installed a new SSD (Kingston hyper X) seems to be working well and FAST but i have noticed now on multiple occasions "save data" so for example my firewall settings and certain locally stored game settings randomly resets to defaults, requiring me to go back and change the settings, would this be directly related to the SSD or possibly RAM? i never had this problem in the past using a standard HDD and there are no other signs of a problem, thanks for advice.

More information is needed. All I got from that is you installed an SSD and at some point you noticed an issue with programs and settings where things are resetting to default. Sounds like a bigger issue not much relation pointing to an SSD issue at this point.

Back story with time lines and exact examples would help.
