Sata Power Question

Ok, so i bought an 80gb Hitachi SATA Hard-drive,

Question is, it comes with a SATA power port, and a molex power port, what might happen if i plugged both in at the same time?

Prolly a stupid question lol, but im kinda curious.

You don't want to put a power connection in both sockets at the same time. From what I understand, it will certainly damage the drive. So, pick one only and use it. If your PSU has SATA power connectors, use them so you can save the MOLEX ones for other devices if you plan to add more hardware to your PC. Have fun... ;)
