A couple weeks ago in another thread I seem to remember someone saying that by the end of the year SATA II would be out. Is this true or were they just confusing things? Something tells me they may have been thinking of some 10k RPM stuff (7200 is fine for me).

I'll be upgrading around December and was wondering if I should hold off buying a new HDD until then.
