SATA II RAID Controller Suggestions

I need to put two SATA II drives in either a RAID 1 or RAID 0 Configuration. So I basically need a PCI-e x1 controller that can do the above, no sweat. It needs to compatible with primarily XP, Vista, and possibly work with Linux (I can recompile the source if necessary). Needs to be on the lower end of the price spectrum as well. Nothing too fancy. Suggestions?

Perhaps one of the many Silicon Image SIL3132 based PCIe controllers ... they support raid 1/0 and port mulitpliers ... assume their would be Linux support for the SIL3132.

Nice linkage drizzit81 :D

One the Customer Reivews on Newegg states "A simple and inexpensive implementation of the great SIL3132 chipset. Full Linux support with sata_sil24 driver. Handles the full bandwidth of two hard drives. Solid."
