Ok so I haev this PE865 Pro board and it has PATA and SATA connectors. So I usually use PATA, but I'm wondering about how to make my SATA the primary bootable drive. It says I need drivers to install but stupid Albatron doesn't have the drivers on there website. Are there generic drivers for the SATA HDDs maybe Western Digital has them? I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?
 
The PE865 Pro is a chipset that intel makes. It is on quite a few of the albatron motherboards, so try using this page to find the right one. link

If you still have the box or manual for the motherboard you might be able to find it that way too. Albatron model names look like this.

Oh, and there aren't generic sata drivers at this time, its specific to the controller for the cards.
 
Were you able to find out what motherboard you have, if not i would recommend looking through the albatron website and find all of the motherboards that have the 865PE chipset, see if one looks like yours.
