SATA HD power issue..

I tried hooking up the SATA power cable to my SATA hard drive when i first got my powersupply and Western Digital 36gb 10k RPM but the computer would't reconize the hard drive unless I use the 4 pin molex instend..

Why?

Powersupply came with this case.

Is power being supplied to the SATA connector? Check it with a multimeter if you have one. Other than that, no idea.

I figured it out.

Turns out that SATA power does work all along. It was the BIOS because SATA was set to RAID by default and I only have one HD so the BIOS did't reconize it until I changed it to non-raid.
