I am wondering if you are able to plugin an sata drive while the computer is on. i was told they are hotswap-able and wanted to know how this is done.

Well as long as you dont have them in a RAID array you just plug them in while the computer is on and thats about all there is too it.

so I would be able to plug in the sata cable to the mobo and then the power to the drive and it would be recognized in windows or what?
