SATA Channel

I have four devices.

Harddrive 1 SATA Controller: 1
Harddrive 2 SATA Controller: 2
DVDRW 1 SATA Controller: 3
DVDRW 2 SATA Controller: 4

I have them plugged into SATA Controller 1, 2, 3, 4. *NOTHING* is plugged into SATA Controller 5&6.

I go to bios and it lists them as the following:

SATA Channel 1 Master Harddrive
SATA Channel 2 Master Harddrive
SATA Channel 3 Master DVDRW
SATA Channel 4 Master None
SATA Channel 5 Master None
SATA Channel 6 Master DVDRW

Why is the second DVDRW not using SATA Channel Master 4?

Same thing happened on my MB. The actual markings on the board didn't match up to what the bios reads. If you want it to line up and be pretty in the bios just try them all and you can see which is which.
