Sanding Tips?

As you can see in this picture I have plenty of nooks and crannies to sand down in between coats of paint (this is the first coat after the primer). Do any special tools or techniques exist that could possibly automagically get the job down faster than using a tiny piece of sandpaper in between my fingers? I have 800 & 1K grit paper, sanding block, and a small tub to do wet sanding in.

Am I missing anything or do I just have to take my time and try and get in between those hard to get places a little at a time?

Scotch Brite pads (or other brand). Can be had in the kitchen section of most grocery stores.
Use scissors to cut the shapes & size you need for a particular area.

Interesting… So what would be the mapping of these pads to sandpaper grit do you think?
