Samsung Xerox Memory Question

I borrowed a stick of ram from a friend. Its a stick of 512 pc3200 Samsung (xerox). The timings suck.. but thats besides the point.

When using it, im getting horrible system instability. Internet explorer crashes.. games crash, blue screens. Yet when i use a stick of my pc2100, it runs just fine.. totally stable.

Them voltage is at 2.6.. but how do i know if this is enough? Ive heard a lot of instabilitity problem are caused by not enough volatage.

I have already tested the rails of my power supply and they are fine.

Should i bump my memory voltage up some? Whats a safe range?

Ive ran prime95, it comes back with an error of "expected below .4, received .5". What that means.. i do not know.

I ran memtest for 13 hours, no errors.

If prime95 gives a rounding error, you have a hardware issue. Read stress.txt for some more info.

Are you overclocking? Go back to stock speeds and run p95 again.

If it errors with everything stock, you have some RMAing to do.
