Samsung CDRW/DVD Reader Combo can't read DVD's

Now that I finally was able to recreate my account, I'm having a problem with my Samsung 352B CDRW/DVD Reader. The drive will read and write CD's just fine, however, when I stick in some DVD's (tried Die Another Day), it says there is no disk in the drive. When putting in certain movies, Windows can see that there is a disk, however, every application gets stuck trying to read it, and the movie won't play. I tried searching around and couldn't find any help.... I upgraded the firmware and everything. Any ideas on how to fix this? By the way, I'm using WinDVD 5, PowerDVD and Windows Media Player to try and play them. Thanks.

Hmm, sounds like a problem with the drive itself. Have you checked Samsung's website to see if they have any advice on this issue? They may have a firmware download to fix this problem.
