I think I've finally found a US vendor with Samsung 193P+ models in stock.

You guys don't think this might be a misprint, right? I just feel like asking because I've actually been burned twice by ordering misprinted items from online vendors and there doesn't seem to be any other shops selling this model.
 
I don't want to bash Samsung, but if the 193P+ is just like the "8ms" Dell 2405FPW Samsung monitor but smaller, it won't be close to the VP191 in response time. Just using overdrive on a P-MVA monitor isn't enough. They need to do something like AUO Optronics did to the liquid crystals and change the crystal cell shape and fluid vicosity in addition to using overdrive to make the panel competitive with the best. Although, I am sure the monitor will look great statically.

Dell rates their monitor at 12ms, even though it uses the "8ms" Samsung panel. According to http://www.behardware.com/articles/567/page2.htm, the differing time may be due to a panel modification. But even the control electronics that Dell uses can effect the response time. Even still, the response time that I haven seen on the Dell 2405FPW monitor seems to be closer to around 20ms. The VP191 I have is much much faster than the 2405 that I have as well ;) I love my Dell for the size and colors. And I have no dead pixels--for me that's like winning a lottery since out of the 6 Dell monitors I have had, everyone of them had at least one dead pixel.
