Samsung 172x

It's a nice LCD. The response time is fairly quick, the display seems pretty accurate. Comparing it to my dad's 17" Planar LCD (which is also pretty good), I'd say that it actually looks a little better...and is a little brighter.

My previous Roomate has one - the only real issue with his is 1 dead pixel. He finds it annoying, but I didn't really notice it.

That's a risk with any LCD though...
 
I'm using mine right now. It sits next to a Dell 17" LCD.

Samsung stuff is awesome. Gaming is nice, everything else is nice. I'd recommend one if you can get it for a good deal. I think I paid like $475 total a while ago. I think you can get one for like $400 now.
