Okay after fighting with Browser election crap for an hour I have finally gotten samba to be the master browser on my network. The wierd thing is I have TWO listings for my samba server
(Im useing SLAPPY as an example servernmae)
Slappy (Localhost) which when double-clicked on states that \\localhost is not accessable. Well yeah no kidding..
then
Slappy (Slappy) which when double-clicked actually connects to samba, prompts me for a login, etc etc.
How do i get rid of the first one? has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
