OK, I need to have some input from anyone that has used the s-video out on a Newer gen. card like a X800 or a nvidia GF6800 with a high quality TV that has s-video input.
With one of the new gen. video card's that has S-video out how good does the picture look on a good TV with S-video input?
1. can you run winXP OK and read text or is it fuzzy ?
2.Can you play games and read text or is it also fuzzy ?
Now when I ask this, I do mean a Good high rez. TV with S-video input not a cheap old fuzzy TV.
I ask because I have a small monitor 17" but can get my hand's on a big TV 30" with high rez. like 800*600 or so but it only has S-Video input not a VGA input and want to know how WinXP and games look and run on a high quality TV .
Would this be a waste of a GF-6800 type card to run games like DOOM3 on a high quality big screen TV (30") through a S-video port not a VGA port ? OR am I better off with a 17"monitor for games ?
