Just a few days ago I started getting this error when I start my computer. A window pops up, in the bar it says "autoupdate" and the error is "Runtime 424 - Object Required." I don't know where this came from, it just started happening. I defrag my hard drive every two weeks about, and I run anti virus and anti spyware/adware every week, and my school has Cisco Clean Access Agent that everyone must log into, so I'm 99% sure I dont have a virus or something.
So I have no idea why this error appeared. Can anyone help me out with this? I'm using windows XP SP2, I don't think its a hardware issue so I don't think I have to list that.
