Running 2 Monitors + an HDTV

i was wondering if you could run 2 monitors plus a 1080P HDTV off of one GTX 280. both monitors via the two DVI ports and then the HDTV via Component from the TV port. i have heard mixed things and the manufacturers web site was no help so i was wondering if anyone. here had heard anything either way.

i mean there are 3 ports so if i can use all of them at the same time it would save alot of money time and headache.

Pretty sure you can't. I just finished asking a question about another card (PCI) to run the same setup(two monitors and HD TV) in the Video card forum. Though I want 3x DVI.

Component just echoes one of the other outputs AFAIK.

This is similar to what I want to do, except I want 3 monitors and one HDTV. The only decent solution that I came up with is building my new rig based around an AMD board with and IGP and an AMD graphics card.

AMD has surround view which allows you to have up to 4 monitors using two outputs from the motherboard and two from the graphics card.

At least I hope it works out I plan on investing in a new phenom2 based system soon.
