Is there any issues with using rubbing alcohal to clean my glossy xps 17" screen? If i am carefull and such.

I mixed half rubbing alcohol and half water together to clean my screen. Hope that helps.

I use a vinegar based cleaner called Mr Muscle Window & Glass which is extremely good.

Its going on 2 years since I started using it on my LCD. Its part of a projector which shows up any tiny problems easily.
There couldnt be a much harsher environment to use the LCD in and it has not suffered any problems at all.

Careful using water, the glue which holds the AntiGlare and Polarising Filters in place is water soluble!
Water can soak through the antiglare layer too.

non-abrassive material and isopropyl alcohol solution (70%) works well.
