I need to put this to the smell test. What does everyone here think? I don’t think you get an RTX 6000 for $2300. The seller says they’ve been around since 2011.

A lot of times some eBay sellers' accounts were hacked, and these listings popped up. I won't bother with it as it is too good to be true. That used GPU is at least 3x of what they are asking for.

Dead giveaway is the “classified ad” listing. It’s not a normal eBay auction or listing , and it takes you to a prompt whereas you’re expected to send real name, address, contact info, etc. still don’t know why eBay hasn’t cracked down on thus.

Thx for the update. Just as I thought. Never knew about the contact information.

I tried one of those recently for an RTX 5090.
Seller had a ton of history and 150 feedback.
I assumed it was a scam - it was.
They said the item would be shipped right after payment.
I asked a day and half later and they were getting it in the mail.
I filed a claim shortly after.
Seller didn't even fight the claim.
PayPal reimbursed me.

There are a TON of those ads now. There was one seller who had -1 feedback for the SAME RTX 5090 that he scammed someone else. eBay doesn't even allow you to report listings anymore! It's pathetic. They make money on every sale, so I guess there is more upside for them to encourage this.

Sounds like its all part of free price fear mongering
