had a server that was showing one of the ram sticks as bad...
since I would like to boost performance by keeping my magnycours systems in quad channel I decided to fix it...
swapped it out... reboot loop...
pull the replacement + matching on other side...
reboot loop
pull them all out....
boot... hey you got no ram (noshit)
off 2 sticks at a time... till full... so basically narrowed down my problem to two sticks...
had the 2nd pair not want to boot...
yawn... back to full quad channel...
while it was down... I decided to swap out the dual 2ghz octos for dual 2.4 es octos...
I am a scrap master
thinking about dropping one of the 2s in the proto blade I have and taking the 2.2ghz 12core es home to fold at a higher clock rate...meh
