Alright, a few months back I recieved a case from a relative. I had asked for a Super LanBoy (A case made by Antec) they got that wrong and ended up picking me up a cheap, generic case.

(Yes, this case is just gonna be painted black and have a window put in. Generic enough?)

I've been using it for about 3 months now, but it's just too bland for my taste.
So I decided to undergo another case mod.

I have no pictures of the case before hand. But I shall be updating with my progress.

1) Dismantled everything. (No pic)
2) Walked down to the local Canadian tire and purchased some nice automotive paint.

Black paint, Grey Primer, and Clear Coat.

Next, I needed to sand it all down. I used my Random Orbital Sander for this.
As you can see, in the second image I have already marked off the area for the window. I shall be cutting that soon with a Dremel, and Jigsaw.

Gah! Another thing you can notice is that rust has started in a few spots. Barely nothing though, I still need to sand with 220 grit on all the pieces before I prime anyway.

Gay, boring bezel.

MORE TO COME SOON!

Update!

I cut the window today. Looks alright, but I need to do some filing to smooth it out.

In the picture it looks kinda like the top part has a bit of a curve in it. It doesn't though, that's just the lighting.

Oh shit! I forgot about this.

I'll upload some images in a bit.

Basically, I primed it all up, painted it a nice gloss black. I've been busy so I haven't wet sanded it all yet, but I plan to do that soon.

I've been lazy.

Still no wetsanding done.

It's just a matte black.

I hate this case though. I plan on buying another, better one soon.

I have a topic in the mane Case Mod forum.

Yay! I picked up a new PSU yesterday. Well, it's used but it'll work till I 85$ to spend on a new one. I also went shopping for some new case fans. I picked up an extra Zalman 80mm fan, and a Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu 92mm CPU cooler. I'm kinda nervous of using it though. It -barely- fits on my motherboard, and it's 140 grams over the reccomended Heatsink weight.

I'll see what happens tomorow.

Be gentle with the heatsink and it should work. Anther thing is, to move the case around to much like taking it to LAN Parties, as this may shift the weight of the heatsink.

I am also from Canada and nice to see Canadian modders, as I know its harder in Canada to get the same modding products for a reasonable price.

I just finished installing the heatsink. The only problem is that the northbridge heatsink touches the side. Not enough so that it can't fit, but it's slightly touching.

Does anyone know what I should do? Just file the heatsink's corner down 1-3mm? (The Northbridge)
