Why I'm asking is my first card that came was Dead On Arrival , an ATI. After a month and a half my Sapphire 800pro was working just great. I turned the computer on this morning and I get a screen telling me my Card isnt plugged in, moved it to another Computer same thing. Has anyone else been having problems like this or anything to make you RMA the video card. I suspect their could be a quality or technical problem with some cards. So if you RMA'd your Card can you leave a message here to see if thier is a pattern developing..

I dont think so ,I had my 9700pro in it for a year and a half, and also a 8500le , they're still working fine , my son wont give up the 9700pro , so Im back to my 8500 as Im typing. I've been checking alot of the other Forums such as rage3d and others and people are having thier cards arrive dead or they burn out soon after. I just would like to find out if their is a pattern developing. The fact I got a message on my screen says the card is working, I am going to try to reflash the bios if I can get a pci card, just a hunch that the bios some how got corrupted. The fan also works and I took a multimeter and am getting power to the card. The first Ati card was getting power and the fan spun but the screen stayed black and you could hear the comp booting up.
