I had been running a loop for almost 2 years with no maintenance(im lazy) other than taking two 7800gtx 512mb cards out of it and adding a connector to bridge the gap in the hose. i was using pc ice red uv (the uv part didnt work so hot) and it made my hoses look fairly dirty...i should have gotten some pics of my rig before i cleaned it...sorry!

since i reworked it, there is a lot less hose :p and i no longer have the HE120.3 on top of the chassis. im just using the mcr220 in the front drive bays with 2 coolermaster fans in a pull config. the two fans that came with the mcr220 originally are in a push config hooked up to a fan controller. running orthos right now getting 40c temp full load (been 45 minutes). i can drop the temp by a couple degrees by turning the other fans on, but blah...its sooo quiet without those fans im loving it!
this was the first time i did a t-line...man it was a pain to get those bubbles out...no way i could have done it with the loop inside the case, it had to be done outside of the case. lots of moving stuff around...tapping the lines, etc...

the old swiftech reservoir i had took the bubbles out much better.

Nice clean setup. It looks good. How does it perform and how loud are those front fans?

im still on a socket 939 system, but it performs well for that. idle temps in high 20/low 30c and full load temps at about 40c for my o/ced 165.

i actually dont need the front fans but they are whisper quiet at 7v, but fairly loud at a full 12v.
i was able to turn my pump down to setting 2 and keep the same temps.
 
...it takes quite a bit longer to bleed air from a t than a res... fairly common I'd say.

I would have put the t somewhere after the main restriction (block) so that it's more sucking from the t instead of pushing in to it (causing some turbulence), but I'm sure it'll be fine how it is.

yeah, it was the small bubbles that gave me hell. it just took some patience is all, it could have been worse i guess. it was just a lot of turning the pump on and off...luckily i had a pos powersupply that i dont mind switching on and off umpteen times at a fairly rapid pace.

i hadnt thought about the sucking/pushing aspect of the t-line location... i plan to attach the t-line to the top of the computer chassis at some point, thats the main reason i put it where it was. plus it was a little easier to keep the pump primed during the initial fluid distribution.

this computer case is old. i had spray painted it flat black for the inital build with it, and some of that stuff has been scraped off or scratched. :)

The fans are in a pull config meaning that air is exhausted out the front of the case right? Nice lookin setup, I'm so familiar with s775 that the ram looks odd oriented that way haha.

Fans are blowing through the radiator (this is much less effective than sucking through).

OP, when I would water cool, I would fill the system as much as possible static. Then once I was sure the pump would not run dry, switch it on and keep the t full the next few days until all the bubbles were worked out. Letting the system prime it self,

its just 4 extra usb ports.

everything is exhausted from the front of the case to the rear. the fans on the front are there just for the extra cooling power when i need it (probably summer time).

yeah, i guess i could have done that but i didnt like the idea of a lot of air running through my pump for a long period of time. i don't like hearing that swooshing sound.

if u look closer i have 4 fans on the radiator. i have two orange coolermaster fans on the pull side. and the black fans in the push config hooked up to a fan controller.
