All the threads from before the great forum down in 2004 are gone, unless you have old backups
On topic:
I guess it wouldnt hurt trying it out, as a subforum "Cases and Modding", but as much as I hate to say it, the [H] isnt as [H] as it used to be, back then (10+yrs) there were many more into modding, electronics, photochopping, weird but cool DIY projects, surely and luckily there are still some left, deliders and the like, just not as many as back then.
People who still pay $50 for a small print with a few components and a soldering iron and make some device that can say BLIP BLOP and flash a LED are far apart, when you can buy a pocket mediaplayer that can play music and videos for $20.
I'm still for the try though, I miss the old athlon/duron days with the pencil trick, would be cool to revive it.

Interesting. I go to Vogons.org/sub-MARVIN for anything retro-related (286-pentium II/very early Pentium III and 3DFX). Maybe it would be nice to have a subforum here. I'm sure it'd grow with 1990's and up hardware threads over a few years. Besides, each year that goes by makes my current x58 system almost feel "retro". ;-)
