I use a VM with OpenIndiana/ illumos and napp-it as a virtual SAN. It is configured with 3 virtual gigabit interfaces, one connected to a public LAN and two to a private iSCSI LAN. How can I restrict the NFS and Comstar iSCSI services to only handle requests on the two private interfaces? Currently an iSCSI adapter scan from ESXi shows the IPs of all 3 interfaces. The iSCSI target portal group only has the two private interfaces selected.

Thanks.

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to accomplish, wouldn't the simplest solution be to simply run you NFS / ISCSI data in a separate IP range and/or VLAN ID?

That's a pretty standard best practice approach ...
