Restoring user profiles on Win2kpro?

Recently my mother in law downloaded some software for a RIO player and aparently it came with more than just the software, had 180 search assistant, bullseye network (the anoying bargianbudy) and lots of other goodies. well i got rid of them all but aparently it got rid of more. after getting rid of all that and restarting i came to find out my main user profile could not be loaded by windows because it was missing. i tried creating another user acct and moving all my folders, but it did not work. i spent about 4 hrs last night hunting for a solution but i gues im not asking google the right questions, how would i go about restoring all my original start up settings?
