Anybody know if the "Danger Den Bay Reservoir High-Density Polyethylene" bay res sticks out of the 5.25" bay? The photos look like it does, and I don't want to waste the cash if that's the case. Thanks in advance.
 
Of course it doesn't. You loosen the screws and slide it forward to fill it, then push it back.
 
a word of warning - the fill port of this reservoir is basically a tube extending down into the res. It is almost impossible IMHO to completely fill the res with this design. What you will achieve is a pleasant gurgling sound as the water splshes into your res. Forget the res and use a tee and fillport.
 
I got mine fully filled on my 2 systems............... :D not really all that hard really, tip and fill.
