Just though I would fetch some opinions as my motherboard recently went out and now I need to replace it, the CPU and my RAM.

This is whats on the roster as a placeholder for a year or two.

Motherboard:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128337&Tpk=GA-EP35-DS3L
$83.99

CPU: (overclocked of course)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116052
$69.99

RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227267
$56.99 after MIR

Which comes to about $210 after the rebate.

Opinions?

Don't count the "savings" from mail-in rebates. You still have to pay the full (before rebate) cost up front.

You don't need any "performance" RAM like the OCZ Reapers. Either save your money now and get a 2GB kit, or find a cheaper (before rebate) 4GB kit.

If you want to overclock your processor, you'll need a better CPU cooler, like the Xigmatek HDT-S963.

I have a few more questions to ask:

- How much money do you have to spend on this upgrade? What's the most you could spend on this upgrade?
- What are the other components that you are reusing from your old build?
- Was your copy of Windows a retail version or OEM?
