Is it easier to replace the rivets on my case with new rivets or will case screws suffice?

You'd need to tap the holes for case screws to work, and I'm pretty sure there's not enough material there to tap.

Self tapping sheetmetal screws work just fine. Screws need more clearance for the heads than pop rivits, but in many locations, it doesn't matter.

yes but im uk and sure someone else here would be able to give you a cheaper place than i would as you'd need to ship from here :p

Only asking lol

If you were uk id reccomend Somewhewre like screwfix direct.

Hope u find you what u need mate

Indeed they would. The information would still be useful though, since once I knew what I was looking for I could try to find it someplace local. Messing around with rivets isn't something i've tried yet so anything I find at this point would increase my knowledge.

I will check out screwfix and see what they've got.
Thanks!

Riveting is so ridiculously easy it's not even funny. Probably easier than using screws.

yup... Put rivet thru hole... pit rivit tool onto rivit (slide in the hole...)

A few pumps of the hadle and you'll hear a pop/bang and thats you done :)

Definitely check the back and make sure the longer sheet metal screws don't touch anything behind them. You can also grind the tips off to make them a bit less lethal to your hands, too.

(Someone used sheet metal screws instead of machine screws up here, and people died when the screw completed the circuit and opened the drawbridge at the wrong time.)
