Replacing PSU fan?

Greetings,

I currently have a pc power and cooling 510 watt psu and was wondering if it was dangerous to replace the fan on the PSU with a panaflo fan?

The reason I ask if because the current fan on the PSU makes this annoying sound compared to the overall system fan and I want to get rid of it by replacing it :D

Usually not dangerous. Might void warenty tho, if it has one. Also you might have to be fairly good at soldering as some psu's the fan is soldered to the PCB.
 
yea its safe, i did it here here I took the pictures off however, if you need them I can try and look for it.
