The fan on my OCZ GameXStream (600w) recently started making a lot of noise.
I took it apart and cleaned the fan, but no luck.
So I remounted one of my spare 120mm fans into the PSU to replace the original.
Everything is working fine, however, the replacement fan doesn't seem to be moving as much air as the original. I checked the air coming out the PSU exhaust (back of the tower) and it doesn't appear as much air is being pushed out.
Could this be a problem? I'm worried the PSU might overheat, but I don't know how likely that is, or how important it is for the fan to be pushing a lot of air...
The fan I used is a 120mm Aspire which I originally took out of my case, since the Ultra120 Extreme blocks the sidepanel fan.
