Please link me if this has already been posted, I did do a search before post.
Ok, so I built my computer and it's running great. But My dad built a new computer as well with Core 2 Duo 6400 in it. Is it possible for me just to upgrade my motherboard and processor. I have the Abit AW8D and Pentium 930 right now. I thought/heard that windows will not work right if you change a component like those to because windows XP wasn't installed on the hard drive with that hardware. I'm trying to avoid have to slick the hard drive and reinstall everything. Thanks for the help.
