I have some headphones that I like and need replacement ear pads for them. Don't mind making some if there are good instructions available. Actually would like to make some for fun as I get my mom to show me the stitching. She's 77 and pretty bored laying in bed all day. It would give her something to reprise her role as head honcho. :)

What guides do you'll use?
Where do you get the materials?
Relative cost to replace ear pads?

My A700 earpads recently started flaking so I contacted Audio Technica parts dept at parts@atus.com just to see if they might still have some laying around. As it turns out they did and I received them today. They were $3.58/each with $4 shipping for the pair. I was able to pay with Paypal and the whole process was very quick...just a few emails exchanged with a guy named Dave in the parts dept. I am very happy as my Google-fu led me to believe my only option was going to be going thru ebay sellers in Japan and paying about $40 for a pair.
