Replace busted-out bay cover

I have an Antec Solo where you wiggle the internal 5.25"
steel bay cover blank out to use more than one external 5.25" bay.

Not wanting to use them now, I have the plastic external door-mounted bay covers.
Are these all that is needed to control airflow, or should I use something to cover the
original area that had the steel blank I knocked out?

Failing that, is there a high-quality card-reader that mounts in a 5.25" bay?

I realize I could stuff another ROM drive in there, just don't really want to.

(I am a big search function user, but "bay cover" gave too many non-matching hits,
and search would not allow "5.25" to be used as a term)

If you wanted to cover the bay like the steel plate did, use duct tape or alumimun repair tape. Otherwise the bay cover is fine.
