Removing water

Is there a way to remove the water out of a water cooling system without taking everything out of your PC?

It depends on how you have your WCing system setup. I have mine setup in a way where all I have to do is point the fill tube downwards and tilt the case and it drains.

In mine, I put a little submersible pump in the res to remove the fluid, disconnect the line from the output of the pump and blow in the line to force all the water into the res.

But then again, my pump and res are outside of my case.

my WC setup has two radiators, one in the drive bay and one on the back. I'll just get a cup and place it under the the rear radiator, unscrew the tube and let'er drain out.

it's pretty hard to get it ALL out - ie: it is hard to drain a radiator without some hardcore tiltage...

find a low point in your loop, tilt the kit somehow so that you clear out one of the tube sections - disconnect it and stick it in a gallon jug or some type of container... tilt the system so it drains out... do this by moving your res or any part higher then the rest of the watercooling system... but really, it depends on how you have your system setup.

so specifics can't be said without a pic of your setup, but it's not hard once you get a section cleared so that you can disconnect it without spills...

wow i was wondering this same question and never even thought of just tipping the computer upside down. LOL. I might think about putting in some drain valves because i have the Lian Li PV-2000 case so i have quite alot of room.
Right now all my hoses are really gunky looking.
