Removing BAT clear cmos?

Ok, well dont worry I didn't do anything wrong but how do I remove the battery to clear cmos if I get a failed overclock, Do i pinch the two metal prongs and pull it up out of its tray....


Also, am I good to go

vcore 1.553 stock speed 3.21/803 want to bring it up to 3.41c/865

Ive brought it up to 211x16 so should I keep going...
 
Gigabytes website will have step by step instructions on clearing the CMOS. I do it to my Abit every so often. Theres a dip switch to move, remove battery for 1 minute and CMOS is cleared.Some systems you dont have to remove the batt. to clear the CMOS.

Most boards will have 3 pins with a jumper on 2 of them in close proximity to the CMOS and battery. If you see one, try turning your computer off, (unplug the power cord from the PSU) and then place the jumper so it is using the 2nd and 3rd pin as opposed to the 1st and 2nd. Leave the jumper on for 10-20 sec and switch it back. Power the computer back up and see what the POST does. If you hit the right jumper, you should see a checksum error.
