Hi,

Well, I decided that I will take the risk and take off the shim on my 9700pro. When I tried taking it off, I could not get a razor blade underneath it. ARG! Anybody got any tips on how to take off the shim?

-Thanks

don't use a razor blade... get yourself metal measuring tape preferably a narrow one and work your way under the shim starting at the top right corner (closest to the top and back of the card). I have done five shim removals this way with no problems

Hi,

Decided not to take it off. So I re-assemble the zalman cooler back on and I'm back in business.

-Thanks
