Just dropped my 2nd 8800gt in, skipped installing vista for the moment (want to fold now damn it).

Booted up, XP freaked of course, reinstalled drivers for both cards (let it find them).

GPU 1 is folding fine.
GPU 2 errored out. First with a pop-up saying it couldn't find the cuda drivers, then in FAHLog with the following:
[06:04:01] + Working ...
[06:04:48] CoreStatus = C0000135 (-1073741515)
[06:04:48] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0xc0000135
[06:04:48] This is a sign of more serious problems, shutting down.

Should I just driver clean and reinstall? I'll be installing vista tomorrow evening at the soonest.

That would be a start. The next would be to make sure the card is active. I've had windows suddenly deactivate one of my cards in a two card system...

0xc0000135 is usually caused by a missing or unknown DLL file.
