Refurbished Video Cards...

[InSurGeNcE]

A friend of mine is building a new computer, he's on a tight budget so we're considering getting a refurbished 7800 GTX. Is this a good or bad idea? Are refurbished video card much worse than new video cards?

There the same thing, ecept they have been used in the past. As long as it runs there the same thing. just make sure the person your buying the video card from is well know and they can confirm it works and in good condition.

If it's still under warranty and he has a chance to RMA it.. *if it fails* then by all means... DO it.
