But every one and there mom is overclocking anymore. :p

ah so thats wat is was.....i came across this case several times and didnt kno wat the deal was with it :p wonder how the energy bill would be like with it

seems like kind of a dumb idea to me. I would figure it to be similar to having a refridgerator with no door.

hmmmm.. If condensation isnt an issue and the temp was good it could make a decent server case for small companies that refuse to/cant have a dedicated room that they can keep cold.

I know many that run servers in ungodly rooms.

Hell I know many home users too that like to keep things at a brisk 80+ degrees

here's a video review so you can see it in action. it's a little loud for me, but other than that, i think it's a great case.

Is this guy related to G-Man (from Half Life 1/2)? He sounds awkward throughout the whole video :p

...Wait, the website is named 3D Game Man.
How long has this guy been around, and do all of is reviews sound like that? Could he be who G-Man was based on?

lmao.

yes he sounds funny in all his vids but it's good stuff. He gives 90% of the stuff he reviews a "Kick-Ass" award so i usually don't buy stuff on his recommendation, but he goes over everything in detail and you can see it in action as opposed to just pictures which is really nice. His first vid review was done in Feb 2000, so he's been around for awhile.

I hope you guys do realize that the "air conditioner" in this case is nothing more than a peltier setup. The hot side is heatsinked and vented out of the bottom of the case while the cold side is heatsinked and blown across the interior of the case. Judging from the power supply that is included with this case and the power requirements of a peltier, there is not going to be much headroom for high-end components such as a OC'ed dual-core processor and a 7800 SLi setup. Its a nifty idea, but not really well planned. For this setup to be worthwhile your going to need a MUCH more powerful peltier and its own dedicated power supply.

Guys, this is NOT REFRIGERATION!!! Like the poster above me says, take a closer look next time. This is hardly even air conditioning.

This is the exact same technology you can buy in a picnic cooler for $25 at Wal-Mart.

It's just a dinky peltier with a fan blowing over it on the front intake, hoping that the cold metal will cool the air.
