reformat with a raid5 array?

well as the titles states, i have a rocketRaid 1640 card using 3x250gb in a raid 5 array.
i just feel like i need to reformat because xp is getting messy and messing up more than usual.
the thing i wanted to know is can i reformat my OS drive and reinstall the raid drivers for the card and have the raid 5 array intact still?
any help would be appreciated

Yes, it should work fine. I suggest you unplug the card when you reinstall Windows to prevent yourself from accidentally wiping the wrong array.

i only have one array, and i can tell by the size of the drive, which i need to use, im gonna backup the data just in case though but thanks for the input
