Hello a firend of mine has a DVD recorder, standalone, its one of thes versions

we were talking over the phone so I haven't seen the unit in person. The unit has a port for DV 1394 (it doesn't say which) and He has used it to get video from has camera with a DV port as wel but he wants to take a video from his PC and put it on the Player via the DV port.

Can this be done? if so how?
